Feel free to share this post...

So here’s the backstory of this photo of the NMC Library …

My daughter has finished her first year of college at NMC (yay!), but had one last assignment to drop off for her geology class. But she had to work today (at Chateau Chantal), so she asked me to drop off the assignment to her geology instructor, Robb Houston (who, by the way, has a pretty good score at RateMyProfessors.com – no, I didn’t check it out on purpose, but that came up when I googled his name to check the spelling).

So I located his office and got the A-Ok to set my box of rocks outside his office door (he wasn’t there, but the instructor next door said it’d be fine and “this isn’t the first time someone has left a box of rocks outside his door”). The rocks, by the way, are some really cool rocks collected during their field trip to Elliot Lake in Ontario, Canada a couple weeks ago.

Anyway, after I delivered the rocks, I wandered around campus a little and took some photos, eventually ending up in the NMC Library (officially, the Mark & Helen Osterlin Library). I love the one at the top of this post, of the station as you walk in the door. Here’s a couple more…

P.S. Every time I’m on campus, I always get this urge to take a class or maybe even go back to school full-time… Hmmm…
