The historic Dougherty House is getting a facelift – literally. The good folks behind the restoration of this home are in the process of adding a new foundation, and if you drive by there right now, you’ll see that the house is lifted up to make that happen.
They’ve carefully taken out all of the windows (which have that very cool historic wavy glass) and lifted the entire building a few feet into the air. Read more about the restoration here, and check out some photos of the process.
