Here’s the great Roger Corman at this morning’s screening of “Corman’s World: Exploits of a Hollywood Rebel” at the Traverse City Film Festival.
Directed by Alex Stapleton, the excellent documentary chronicles the life of this legendary filmmaker, who’s best known for the hundreds of B-Movies he’s made, like “A Bucket of Blood” and “Sorority Girl,” but who influenced just about everyone in Hollywood one way or another, including Ron Howard (who began his directorial career with “Grand Theft Auto”) and Jack Nicholson (who starred in many of Corman’s early films, including “The Cry Baby Killer” – Nicholson’s first film).
I highly recommend “Corman’s World,” which is available to watch or buy over on Amazon.
