I love that the church bus at OMP United Methodist Church is called “The Cool Bus.” It even says that right there on the bus.
The bus is used for church outings and events, and also to pick kids up after school for JAM (which I believe stands for Jesus and Me, but someone reading this can confirm). It’s a fun time for kids to get together during the week and do “cool” things. Call (231) 223-4393 for more info. From the website:
4:30pm JAM Kids Wed. program (starts up again on Sept. 23, 2015). During the school year we have a one hour children’s after-school program each Wednesday where we drive the church’s “cool bus” to the Old Mission Peninsula Elementary School, pick up the children and bring them to the church for a 1 hour program teaching them all about Jesus and participating in mission outreach projects. Children from all walks of life and even some from different churches attend our program. The parents pick them up afterward.
