While grabbing a few photos of the Pure Michigan film shoot at the Old Mission General Store this morning, I also snapped a picture of store owners, Jim and Marcy Richards.
Longtime friends who gave my son his first job out of high school, Jim and Marcy are great people who do an amazing job of keeping the store humming along for both locals and tourists. Try one of their yummy sandwiches or ice cream cones, or pick up a cool Old Mission t-shirt or antique. They also have a huge variety of classic candy.
And don’t be surprised if Jim breaks into song while you’re there. It’s been known to happen.
