The summer is speeding by, so I made a point to get out in the kayak today. When you live in paradise, sometimes you work so hard to make sure all the bills are paid that you don’t have time to enjoy it. I’m sure lots of people who live here year-round can identify.
It was a little overcast today, and the water was choppy. So lest I accidentally drop my good camera overboard, I left it onshore and just snapped a few pics with the iPhone. No matter how many times I cruise along the East Bay shoreline, there’s always something new and fascinating to see.
Oh, and I noticed a little woolly-bear hitching a ride in the kayak. I don’t know if that bodes well for what kind of winter we’ve got in store. It’s still August, after all.
