The MegaStorm that ripped through northern Michigan last week not only left trees down, roads impassable, power lines strewn everywhere, and homes and cars damaged, it also wiped out the entire apple crop of local farmers — and much of the grape crop, I’ve heard.

After church today, Mom and I went two-tracking through the farm (as we love to do), and I snapped this picture of a damaged apple up by my niece Heather’s house. I couldn’t find one apple that didn’t have some damage. Whether they can still be used for juice or not, someone in the know tell us in the comments below.
