Sept. 11, 2015: Distracting Ourselves from 9/11 at Books a Million

What better way to distract ourselves from the anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks than by going to Books a Million and losing ourselves among the stacks? I can’t think of any, so we – husband, daughter and self – piled in the car and drove to town to do just that.

My current favorite spot in the bookstore is the Young Adult section. I feel like now that both of my kids are in college, maybe I can sneak in some reading now and then. And I love books for young adults. Because maybe I’ve never really quite grown past being a young adult myself.
