This is pretty cool. Now that my daughter works at Chateau Chantal, I’m more tuned in to what’s happening there. I stopped by to see her this afternoon and there was live music in their big room through the hallway.
Jeff Haas was at the piano, with Claudia Schmidt singing, Jack Dryden on bass, Randy Marsh on drums, Laurie Sears on saxophone, and a flute player whose name I don’t know (someone tell me in the comments below).
To ramp up the coolness, watercolorist Lisa Flahive was painting up a storm of the band as they played. How cool is that?
