I need some help on this one. For my entire life, I thought Walt’s Crawlers had an Old Mission connection, possibly Nevingers, as I know they sold bait there when I was a kid.
My husband thinks he’s seen the Walt’s Crawlers sign at This Old Barn (Walt Feiger), but now it’s hanging on a post at the Old Mission General Store, as seen above. But I just googled Walt’s Crawlers, and it brings up a fishing bait business in Vanderbilt, Michigan.
If anyone knows the origin of Walt’s Crawlers and whether there’s an Old Mission connection, tell us in the comments below.
