My husband Tim and I go back a long way with Jim and Shirley Sullivan. Shirley’s maiden name is Cosgrove, and their house was next to the Johnson’s (my maiden name) home farm in Mapleton. All of us kids grew up together, and we’ve been friends the whole way.
The Sullivan’s have a fantastic farm stand just north of the Peninsula Market in Mapleton, and right now they have all sorts of fall produce and apples, including Cortland, Golden Delicious, and the much-loved Honey Crisp. Be sure and stop by there, check out the beautiful assortment and take some home with you.
