Nov. 3, 2015: Plump Dove on the Snowplow Truck

Plump Dove on the Snowplow Truck | Jane Boursaw Photo

Doves are such interesting birds. When they’re stretched out, they look almost long and lean (ok, with a bit of a pear shape). But when they’re sitting quietly, they’re plump as all get out, with tiny heads poking out of the top of their bodies. It must be super warm in there.

Here’s one that was hanging out with his or her friend on the top of the snowplow truck all morning. It looks photoshopped, but is absolutely unfiltered (as are all the photos on Old Mission Gazette, unless otherwise noted).
