And I thought yesterday was awesome kayaking. Oh my gosh. Today was magical.
Here’s how it went down: I had so much work to do that I told my husband to “don’t let me go kayaking”! But as the day progressed, I knew there was no way around it. Had to get in that water, because snow’s coming and it’s gorgeous out and we have to take advantage of these days before we head into winter.

To say that today’s kayaking was magical would be a serious understatement. Words cannot describe how beautiful it was out there – glassy water, clouds reflecting in the water, geese landing, and just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, the moon peeked out from behind the clouds!
I am so glad I decided to forego work for a few hours. By far, the best kayaking day of the year (so far – hey, anything is possible).
This photo was taken on East Bay, looking south, just off the Warren beach. I paddled around the corner about a mile towards town and back.
