Here’s another photo from yesterday’s adventure at the Old Mission Lighthouse. This was taken right before the open space that looks out on West Bay along the road, and I was looking north towards the Lighthouse.

You can see that little island of land out in front of the Lighthouse. A few years back, there was a great path there and you could walk all the way out to the end. But the water was up this year, so that path is now underwater, for the most part.

There was not a soul around, and I love that time during the transition between fall and winter when we seem to have the place to ourselves. So beautiful.
