We walked along Neahtawanta Beach (north of the Boathouse Restaurant) and we’re glad to see that we could get through the swampy area without having to turn back. The water was so high over there all summer that you couldn’t walk the whole beach.

We usually walk the Pyatt Lake trail and then cut over to the beach and back to Bowers Harbor Park, where we park the car. It’s a good trek. And I don’t even think we’re trespassing because as I understand it, a property owner owns to the high water mark, and everything beyond that is ok for people to walk. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
