I know I recently posted a photo from downtown Traverse City and the State Theatre, but I can’t resist posting another one. Every time I see a movie at the State Theatre or even just drive by it, I’m reminded of seeing movies there when I was a kid. My friends and I – Sally Rogers, Joyce Starr, and I can’t remember who else – saw “Gone With the Wind” there in the 1970s. I mean, holy cow.
Even with the Eighth Street debacle, tall building issues and mysterious roundabouts, it truly IS a wonderful life in our beautiful Traverse City.
