After church today, Mom and I were heading down Blue Water Rd. and saw these fabulous turkeys wandering off into Lardie’s orchard. Sadly, I have not seen Mr. Gobbles this winter, so I’m afraid he either perished naturally or ended up on someone’s dinner table.
If you follow me on Facebook, you know that Mr. Gobbles was my “pet turkey” who came to my bird feeders for several winters in a row (only in the winter, no other time of year). I miss that darn turkey.
