It’s been a while since we’ve seen gas prices this low. But they keep going down steadily, and they’re currently at $1.58/gallon at Mutual Gas Station by the Blue Goat. I can handle that.
The lowest I can remember is when they were .18 cents/gallon when I got my first car – a VW bug – in the mid-1970s. I used to fill it up for a few bucks at the Old Mission General Store – back when there was a gas pump there. Back when it was Lardie’s Store and Bob DeVol was the owner.
