I’m not sure of the origin of this photo (I didn’t take it; was not on the planet yet). It’s a photo of Harold’s Sinclair Service in Mapleton (a.k.a. Harold Lardie’s Garage), where the Peninsula Grill is currently located.

I’m not sure of the exact date, but Tim says judging by the Willys Station Wagon inside, it was probably somewhere in the range of 1948 to 1952. Leave intel in the comments below.

I’ll have to scout out a picture of Watson’s Store across the road. If you have one, let me know.
