Bardon’s is still boarded up, but the picnic tables are out. That’s a sure sign that Spring is on the way. And with it, plenty of ice cream cones and turtle sundaes.
My favorite is mint chocolate chip ice cream in a waffle cone. Sometimes I’ll get one scoop of mint chocolate chip and one scoop of Mackinac Island Fudge. Just to mix it up.
I ate a lot of Bardon’s mint chocolate chip when I was pregnant with my first baby. That baby – he’s 21 now – also loves mint chocolate chip. Coincidence? I think not.
