These lovely, gentle swans are almost always swimming around our beach on East Bay. I’m not sure if it’s the same ones all the time, but who knows, maybe it is. Maybe they’re territorial.
At any rate, I can see them every morning when I do my morning yoga/prayer/meditation. It’s a great way to wake up and start the day. Maybe some day I’ll have a mega-zoom lens and can take pics from up at the house.
You can see some other swans in the distance, way out in the water. When I was a kid growing up in Old Mission, we used to go down to the beach and feed bread to the swans. I think that’s frowned upon these days, but we didn’t know any better back then. As is the case with so many things.
