Snapped this photo of a red-winged blackbird on Devil’s Dive Road, on my way home from yoga tonight. Their cheery song always reminds me of my childhood in Old Mission, because they were all over the place back then. And they still are. I see a lot of them around these days.
But do they all have that bit of yellow on their wing? Or is this a different bird from the red-winged blackbird I remember as a kid?
