You know that feeling when you know you’ve seen something in the distant past, but you can’t remember where or when? That’s how I feel looking at the photo of this quilt.

I KNOW I’ve seen it, but am not sure if it was in my mom’s house, my grandma’s house (Stella Johnson), or perhaps somewhere else. I asked my mom, Mary Johnson, but with her memory issues, she didn’t remember it.

At any rate, the quilt was part of the Old Mission Women’s Club garage sale last weekend, and the ladies are trying to figure out if it has an Old Mission connection.

Are you familiar with this quilt, or do you recall seeing it at some point in the past? If so, email Diane Shaffer at [email protected]┬áif you know anything about its history. You’re also welcome to leave a comment below, and I’ll be sure and pass it along. – JB

  1. Thanks for posting this Jane. I do not recall who brought the quilt to us. It was the 2014 garage sale and when it didn’t sell I held it til the 2016 sale. Thanks for all your efforts in helping to find out who and where this quilt was made.
