To say that Father Fred left a lasting legacy in the Grand Traverse region doesn’t even begin to cover his mark on our community. I interviewed him numerous times for local publications, and his gentle words continue to stick with me today. He wanted those struggling through challenges to be treated with dignity. And since most of us have been there in our lives, we can all identify with that.
Father Fred – Rev. Edwin Frederick – passed away in 2000, but his legacy looms large. Thank you, Father Fred, for all you’ve done for not just us locally, but around the globe.
