Photo of the Day: June 9, 2016 – Spray Barn Traffic Jam

Go outside just about any time of day or night, and you’ll probably hear the whine of a sprayer off in the distance. Farmers especially like to spray at night when it’s less windy than during the daytime.

This photo comes to us courtesy of my niece, Heatherlyn Johnson Reamer, who manages the family farm, Johnson Farms. The sprayers are all lined up, waiting to be filled so they can head out to the orchards.
