Every time the bay gets the least bit choppy, I’m happy to sit on the beach and absorb the water vibes. Having lived on East Bay my whole life, I know its mighty power and know better than to mess with it.
But some people love the waves, as evidenced by the windsurfers just off The Bluffs on East Bay on my way into town today. There were two, so I grabbed this photo of one of them.

I’m not sure how windsurfing works. I see a board there, but they must be strapped to it somehow, otherwise the kite thingie would take them soaring into the sky.
