It was 70 degrees on the Old Mission Peninsula yesterday. Today, it’s 30 degrees and we’re in the midst of our first snowstorm. This little chickadee on the feeder doesn’t seem to mind one way or the other.

Jane — I remember The Old Mission General Store when it was called Lardie’s — run by George Lardie —— before your time !!!!
Thanks for the note, David! I think it was always called Lardie’s when I was a kid – back when Bob and Helen DeVol owned it. I’m not sure when the name change occurred over the years… anyone know?
