It’s funny – I put out some finch feeders over the summer, and the finches rarely ever went near them. These are the feeders that hold the tiny nyjer thistle seed. One of the feeders is plastic and the other has those funny socks that you pour the seed into.

But as soon as it snowed a few days ago, both feeders were covered with finches. Maybe they just like them when it gets cold. I dunno.
