I’m not sure who lives here now, but thank you for keeping this barn up so beautifully and decorating it so nicely for the holidays. It’s on Peninsula Drive, located about a half-mile south of the Kroupa Road intersection.

I’ll probably always think of it as Louis Kauer’s barn. He would bring his big work horses down to the Bowers Harbor horse shows, and sometimes they’d get loose and we’d find them eating apples in my grandma’s apple orchard, just to the north across the swamp.
