I’ve gotten waylaid from my Photo of the Day posts while working on the “Mom’s House” project, so let’s get back to it with this one. This is a photo of the choir at Old Mission Peninsula United Methodist Church (that’s me on the left with my violin).
We’ve been rehearsing the song “Noel,” to sing during church on Sunday, Dec. 18 (10:30 a.m.), and also on Christmas Eve, Saturday, Dec. 24 (6 p.m.). Our pianist, Michele Zebell, does a great job of pulling everything together with our band of merry songsters, and her husband, Al Jankowski, sits in on keyboards.

If you’re free on either of those days, come by and listen! The church is located at 16426 Center Road on the Old Mission Peninsula (at the top of the hill on the right before you get to Old Mission Tavern).
(Thanks to Donna Tuttle for snapping the photo.)
