Photo of the Day: Jan. 31, 2017 – Sweet Chickadee

Here’s a sweet chickadee on the bird feeder outside the window of Old Mission Gazette‘s World Headquarters. I feel like chickadees sometimes get short shrift in the world of more colorful and bigger birds, but they remain one of my favorites who visit the feeder regularly.

I’ve been trying to get one to take seed out of my hand – they always seem so friendly – but no takers so far. I’ll keep trying, and of course, you guys will be the first to know when that happens.
