Want to help keep our Old Mission Peninsula parks clean and beautiful? Anne Griffiths, Chair of the Parks Commission, is asking folks to join the parks adopters who help out by repairing play structures, cutting brush, spraying poison ivy, picking up trash and more.
If interested, email Anne at [email protected]. When a parks project is in need of volunteers, she’ll send out an email asking for help.
Anne also invites everyone to attend the Parks Commission meetings, which take place the first Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Township Hall. They are in the midst of long-range planning for the parks and welcome thoughts and ideas.
