The Neahtawanta Research and Education Center (NREC) celebrated its 30th anniversary on Friday, June 16, 2017. Highlights of the evening included a porch concert featuring longtime activists and musicians Sally Rogers and Claudia Schmidt, remarks from NREC director Sally Van Vleck, and the announcement of the next book in the Bob Russell Resilience Reading Project – “The Death and Life of the Great Lakes” by Dan Egan.
