Summer on the Old Mission Peninsula means plenty of fresh produce on the farm stands along the roads. I snapped a photo of this gorgeous asparagus at Between the Bays – Warren Orchards’ farm stand at 8169 Center Road, but they also have a farm stand at their home farm, 2705 Island View Road.
Along with asparagus, you’ll also find fresh strawberries and saskatoons, honey, maple syrup, maple sugar and fresh eggs (first come, first serve – get there early in the day for the eggs!) at the Warren’s right now. Cherries are right around the corner!
