The event took place on the corner of Center Road and Island View Road, which is, in fact, where the new library will be located. Folks could even take a “tour” of the new library and visualize where all the rooms would be located. Music was provided by Tim Boursaw, Jane Arney and Hillar Bergman.
They’re ahead of schedule on their fundraising goal, thanks to a generous donation of $750,000 from Bill and Nancy Davy. Construction on the new library will begin sometime in 2018.
