I apologize for slacking off on my Photo of the Day posts lately. I’ve been working on a super secret Old Mission Peninsula project that’s monopolizing all my time. But I’m hoping to launch that baby this week, so I can get back to regular posting on the Gazette.

While driving down the very north end of Peninsula Drive yesterday (where it ends at Swaney Road), I was excited to see these horses out by the road. They’re usually way back by the barn, so I don’t get a chance to take their pictures very often.

And they’re so adorable. I especially like their bangs. The one at the top is sporting a Looney Tunes Sam Sheepdog look, while his buddy on the left below has more of a Tom Petty vibe.

Thanks for coming by the fence to say hi and be our Photo of the Day!

  1. Oh thank you for posting! I’ve wondered who they belong to (or maybe you belong to them) πŸ™‚ The one with the Tom Petty bangs (parted in the middle) is so friendly! They’re all so adorable, and I was excited to see them by the fence. -jb
