No, this isn’t a scene from the movie “Fargo.” It’s snowy Blue Water Road. If you’re reading this from some warm and sunny locale, this is what it looks like on the Old Mission Peninsula right now.
When we came out of the Boursaw gathering on Christmas Eve around 11 p.m., I couldn’t believe how much it had snowed in just the few hours we were there. And it’s been snowing ever since.
It’s also cold. For instance, right now as I write this, it’s 12 degrees out there, which is downright balmy compared to the 5 degrees it was yesterday. I think we can all agree that winter has arrived on the OMP.
