The Peninsula Township Fire Department is currently seeking qualified individuals for the positions of Part-Time and Paid On Call Firefighters.

State of Michigan/National Registry Medical First Responder, preferably Emergency Medical Technician-Basic as a minimum with BLS certification and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support certification. State of Michigan certified Firefighter I and II and Haz-mat Operations Level are required.
Paid On Call Qualifications:
Applicant must reside preferably in Peninsula Township, or within 5 miles of the southern Township border, be at least 18 years of age and a U.S. resident. The qualifications of the part-time firefighter are preferred, but the department is also willing to provide training to successful applicants.
Peninsula Township Fire Department is a dynamic fire department located in one of the most beautiful townships in Michigan. The department provides fire suppression, as well as rescue and emergency medical response to a growing population of approximately 6,000 people.
