Architect's Rendering of the new Peninsula Community Library
Feel free to share this post...

Argentine writer and poet Jorge Luis Borges once said, “I have always imagined that paradise will be a kind of library.” There is no imagining when it comes to Peninsula Community Library! Thanks to our supportive community, a new library in our paradise here on the Old Mission Peninsula is becoming a reality!

The public hearing for the new library is on the Planning Commission’s agenda tonight, 7 p.m., at the Peninsula Township Hall, 13235 Center Road on the Old Mission Peninsula.

Old Mission Gazette is Reader Supported.

This is a required step in obtaining a special use permit for the land and project. We would like to pack the room. If you are able, please come and share a few words during public comment.

“The only thing you have to know is the location of the library,” said Albert Einstein. By summer of 2019, we plan on being at the corner of Island View and Center Roads! Hope to see you tonight!
