What do cherry farmers do in the winter? Trim trees and burn brushpiles. And work on equipment and worry about the coming season on the Old Mission Peninsula.

Here’s a couple of farmers on the corner of Peninsula Drive and Phelps Road recently. Part of the Wunsch clan maybe? I’m not sure. But they were doing a stellar job of burning this brushpile.
