If you haven’t checked out all the cool items available to bid on for Peninsula Community Library’s silent auction, you have until tomorrow at 3 p.m. to place your bids.
The items are available to view and bid on at Peninsula Community Library through 3 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, May 11. All proceeds go towards building the new library, to be located on the corner of Center Road and Island View Road on the Old Mission Peninsula. Read more about the new library here.
And there are some amazing items, including many handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces such as lap blankets, felted knitwear and jewelry; a variety of wine; candy and goodies (I spotted a box of chocolate-covered dried cherries); book collections; a Baldwin piano; items for kids; a beautiful vintage typewriter; a tour of Mission Point Lighthouse; assorted home décor items; gift certificates for Old Mission produce, flowers, classes, massages, stores and even a fishing trip – and so much more.
Old Mission Gazette donated an assortment of items from our sister site, the Old Mission Peninsula Store, including OMP bumper stickers, hats, photo prints from yours truly, a calendar, greeting cards and more.
Here is a small sampling of the items available to bid on. Stop by the library before tomorrow at 3 p.m.! If you have questions, feel free to call the library at (231) 223-7700.
