You can’t hardly drive down an Old Mission Peninsula road without seeing a deer or two these days. I saw this little one at the south end of Bluff Road, but never fear, the momma was close by.
And for once, I happened to have my good camera on the seat beside me, so I snapped a few photos.

The farmers don’t appreciate all the deer shenanigans – they love to chew on and snap off newly-planted tender fruit trees – but we love them over here on Bluff Road.
In the winter-time especially, we often see herds of 12 or more deer wandering up the driveway and through the field behind us.
