A western rockin’ good time was had by all at the Boots & Bling Fundraiser for the Old Mission Peninsula School (OMPS) PTO at Bewitched Farm on the Old Mission Peninsula on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018.
Julia Phelps, President of the OMPS PTO, and her crew did a great job pulling everything together, and upwards of 200 people attended the fundraiser, which also included a silent auction with lots of great items from the Old Mission Peninsula and Grand Traverse region.
A cash bar was available with the gals from Tonic & Lime serving, and attendees also enjoyed a buffet of pulled pork sliders, baked chicken, macaroni salad, coleslaw, baked beans, potato salad and a yummy selection of cookies and treats.
Terry Hooper of Hooper’s Farm Gardens helped with table decorations and a silent auction donation, and Rhinestone Genie was also on hand to help deck everyone out with their creative rhinestone kits – check them out here.
If you couldn’t make the Boots & Bling Fundraiser (hopefully, there will be one next year!), you’re welcome to donate to OMPS PTO by contacting the school at (231) 252-0225.

We need your support...
At a time when newspapers across the country are dying in droves, small community newspapers like Old Mission Gazette are the wave of the future. Owners Tim and Jane Boursaw are devoted to the Old Mission Peninsula community, and our editorial independence means we set our own agenda and voice our own opinions. But we need your ongoing support to keep delivering Old Mission Peninsula news, history, photos and more. We rely on generous reader support to keep doing what we do, and every contribution, big or small, is valuable. Click HERE to support Old Mission Gazette. Thank you!
