If you’ve been watching the activity on the corner of Center Road and Island View Road, you’ve probably noticed big things happening there. Construction began on the new Peninsula Community Library a few weeks ago, and this week, the cement was poured for the library’s foundation.
In short, things are moving along, and all the hard work of library staff, board and volunteers over the past two years is finally paying off as the library begins to take shape.
