Last night, I left about an hour early to head to yoga class at the Neahtawanta Inn, because I knew I’d be stopping all the way there to take pictures. I might be in the minority here, but I love the snow and all that cold, fresh air. (But ask me again at the end of February).
Honestly, though, winter in our north country is better when I get myself bundled up and head outside for a hike or snowshoe through the woods. It’s so peaceful out there. Well, unless it’s a blizzard. Then I’m home in front of the fire – also peaceful!
And the light was incredible last night as I headed down Neahtawanta Road around 5 p.m. That’s what we call a #nofilter hashtag. Pure winter light and oh so beautiful for today’s Photo of the Day installment.
