Photo of the Day: Wavy Haserot Beach

Today’s Photo of the Day is courtesy of a super wavy Haserot Beach. We went to the big city (Old Mission) to pick up the mail at the post office, and, of course, always take the opportunity to drive around the neighborhood.

It was crazy wavy there. In fact, crazy wavy on East Bay, in general. It reminded me of the ocean at Virginia Beach, where we vacationed for a couple weeks in the 1970s while my dad was stationed there in the Coast Guard.

But when Tim and I drove out of town on Peninsula Drive today, it was fairly calm over there.

I don’t remember noticing that tree – or whatever it is – near the dock at Haserot Beach this summer. Hmmm…

Schools were closed due to an ice storm that blew through here last night, but the roads weren’t bad by the time we got around and headed to town to run errands.
