Old Mission Gazette roving photographer Curt Peterson organized a hike to Power Island recently and said about 150 people showed up to hike, ski, snowshoe and ride fatbikes out to the island from Old Mission Peninsula.
“Get it while you can,” says Curt. “The last time this happened was 2014. The trails on Power Island are packed for skiing, snoeshoeing and fat biking. This is so wonderful.”

With the warming temperatures (did someone mention Spring?!), this opportunity will likely go away as the week progresses.
