Feel free to share this post...

I was headed to town on Peninsula Drive this week and happened to spot two eagles around the intersection of Island View Road.

Someone else stopped just behind me, so we both got some cool photos (I think it’s someone who works at the Jolly Pumpkin, because I saw her post a picture of the eagles on Facebook).

I took a few photos, staying far enough away to not disturb them, but as I got back into the car, one of the eagles flew off over West Bay. I figured the other one would follow, but as luck would have it, the first eagle swooped back in and landed on the tree again. That’s the shot at the top of this story – taken through my car window, so it’s not particularly clear.

Here’s another one that’s a little clearer, with the two birds looking out over West Bay.
