If you’ve driven north on Center Road past Ladd Road, you’ve probably seen the beautiful tulips planted alongside the road, on the right before you get to Eiman Road.
You can thank Bern and Cheryl Kroupa for those cheery red, yellow and variegated flowers, beaming joyfully in the sunlight.

When fall rolls around, farther down the road across from the Old Mission Tavern, Bern always has a variety of apples for sale along the stone fence there.
