Today’s Photo of the Day is from a couple days ago. I was heading home from taking a walk on the Lighthouse Trail and spotted these wild clouds over the Hogsback.
If you don’t know where the Hogsback is, it’s located on Center Road, just north of the intersection with Smokey Hollow. I wrote up a little Hogsback 101 story a few years ago here that explains how it came to get its name.

As for those magnificent clouds, we did get some rain that night. Here are the same clouds looking south from Blue Water Road. I’m a little obsessed with that lush cover crop, too.
And here they are looking east over East Bay from Bluff Road. It was an awesome ride home.
